Documents Needed for Renew The Trade License
You must renew your trade license annually. It is only valid for one year. Thirty days before its expiry, you must apply for a trade license renewal. There are more than twenty-five free zones in the emirate, and each has its specific regulations regarding trade license renewal.

Ejari Registration
For license renewal, a registration certificate from Ejari must be obtained. It is obligatory to have a tenancy certificate certified by Ejari, or else a fine will be imposed on you.
Existing Trade License Copy
A copy of the old trade license needs to be submitted along with the application to get it renewed.
Passport copies of business partners
The trade license renewal requires each partner to submit their passport copy to demonstrate their involvement in the business.
BR/1 Form
The BR/1 form and the license renewal form must be completed and sent to the appropriate authorities to begin this procedure. All partners must sign the document wherever applicable before the form is submitted to the DED for approval.
Submit every pertinent document with the renewal form to DED as soon as the necessary documents are prepared and available. The next step will be to get renewal applications. The process can be completed online or offline, and the applicant can choose any one of the available mediums.

Renew a Trade License in Dubai -A Brief Know-how
Be sure your lease contract is still in effect for at least one more month before renewing your Dubai commercial license. After that, send the required paperwork and your renewal application (BR/1 form) to the Department of Economic Development (DED).
The DED will provide a payment voucher for renewal fees if your application is accepted. Your license will be renewed once the payment for the same is completed.
Note: Until they receive your money, the DED will not issue the renewal. Additionally, you can apply via their smartphone app. Usually, the procedure requires several days following the submission of your application.
